Glenncoe can... because we're people driven!

Glenncoe Transport Ltd was founded by Glenn James Coe (SR.) and his wife Verna and incorporated in February of 1972.

The company originally started out as a one truck and trailer operation based out of the family home where the Coe's were busy raising four children, Glenn (JR), Keith, Donald and Valerie.

Glenncoe Transport remained operational out of the family home for several years, where Glenn and Verna still lived until Glenn (SR) passed away in December 2004.

The first "big" contract was with Chateau Homes Ltd, a prefab house builder located on the Kelowna West side, or "West Bank". The primary service was flat deck work, delivering pre-fabricated houses throughout British Columbia. As the Coe's took on more business, the home based kitchen/office couldn't handle a rapidly growing company and a family of six. So Glenn and Verna mortgaged the house, and purchased a small building and yard on the West side of Kelowna where they could do their own maintenance, and have an office as well. Glenn Coe (SR) was the primary and first driver, with his eldest son Glenn Coe (JR) not far behind.
